Women in Buenos Aires, Argentina, are taking a stand against sexism and gender-based violence by literally standing up — and then stripping down. As reported by Newsweek , protesters took part in a peaceful, naked flash mob protest in the Argentinian capital this week to draw attention to the way women are treated in the country. With a banner saying "Femicide is Genocide" front and center, the group of women begin to slowly remove their clothing as a woman on a loudspeaker discusses these serious problems in detail. The protesters eventually gather around the banner to collapse on the ground for a chilling visual, almost as if they died intertwined with one another.
